About the pilot

This project aims a create/reinforce a DataMiner (DM) cluster and make it available to all the communities served by D4Science.

AGINFRA+ system is in TRL9.

Goal(s) to be achieved after 1 year

  • Operation of a production DataMiner clusters
  • Registration of the AGINFRA+ VREs in the EOSC Portal Marketplace
  • Implement a sustainability plan with the providers involved in the project

  • Identify the initial resource capacity needed by the project
  • Engage with EOSC-hub providers interested to support the project activities
  • Deploy DM cluster in a single cloud provider
  • Enabling EOSC-hub monitoring and accounting

  • Quarterly review of performance thresholds
    • Number of analytics tasks increased 10%
    • Availability (uptime) > 95%
  • Availability of monitoring probes for checking the status of the DM cluster (through API).

  • Integration of monitoring probes in EOSC Monitoring service
